B.Sc (Med), M.B, B.S (Hons), MPH, FRACP.
Dr Roy is a medical graduate of the University of New South Wales. He completed his cardiology training at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Sydney. Following this he undertook interventional cardiology fellowships at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Parkville, Victoria and Washington Hospital Center, Washington DC, USA.
Dr Roy has interests in clinical research. He has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in clinical research methods (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) from The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. He has authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals on topical issues in the field of interventional cardiology. He has been appointed as an academic at The Australian School of Advanced Medicine, Macquarie University.
Dr Roy’s interests are in general cardiology, interventional cardiology(angioplasty/stenting) and in clinical research.
